Be sure to SAVE THE DATE of October 9-10, 2009, for the 2009 Debtor-Creditor Section CLE and Annual Meeting. It will be held at the William W. Knight Law Center at East 15th Avenue on the University of Oregon campus. The program is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Friday, and 8:00 a.m., to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The program's title is "We Can Fix It: Remedies for 2010", and includes topics such as the safe exercise of UCC remedies, new developments on leases and executory contracts, and breakout sessions on consumer and business topics. It will also include a Judge's Panel, ethics program, and case law and legislative updates. The event will include a snack reception with law students, a reception after the program with entertainment by "On the Rocks" and hors' doeuvres, and a breakfast with the judges. Registration details will be sent in the next few weeks.
